Fourteen-year-old Grant Thompson was playing Fortnite one afternoon when he discovered a bug so serious and important to Apple that it is planned that he will receive a payment that will help pay for his education. Apple has not yet shared the exact amount of money they will be giving the teenager, but it definitely will not be small. The bug was found sometime during January and initially would let some iPhone users hear whatever conversations the recipient was having on the other line even if they did not answer the caller. Grant and his mother later tried to constantly warn Apple about this issue by sending several emails, but received no response. Finally, Apple caught word about what this bug was and what it was causing and gave credit to Grant for discovering the bug. Apple has now fixed the bug and is planning to pay Grant in the near future.
